smell the flowers.

Tomorrow I have a midterm. And the next day, I have a very difficult homework assignment to complete and turn in by noon. Fortunately, spring break is next week. It seems far away, and in some ways, I am dreading it. You see, I've procrastinated so many errands, tasks, projects...etc, putting it all off to finish during spring break. Now, my spring break is filled with things to do. :(

Anyway, I just want to stop and smell the flowers. Just for a second. I think, if I could just stop and realize how fortunate I am, how amazingly blessed I am, I could cope with this intense stress. I guess this is a reoccurring theme in my life. I complain because I am unhappy. I am unhappy because I am ungrateful. Anyway, I'm going to go to bed now, and I am going to try to dream of lovely things...

And by the way, your color palettes in your illustrations are getting quite sophisticated and really wonderful! Way to go!

Again, so adorable it hurts my eyes!
It's okay to be sad. Sadness makes the happy times all the sweeter. :) Hope your exams go well. xo

good luck! I know what you mean about putting everything off 'till s. break. except i have totally blown everything responsible off! Make sure to stop and smell some flowers on your break. You deserve it!

I really love the colors and the cheerfulness of this design.

I always put everything off to finish during a break-- however, I never do anything during my breaks so the last month of school makes me want to rip my hair out.

Procrastination at its finest.

Aw, don't be so hard on yourself! Not every unhappy person is ungrateful. Maybe all the things you are unhappy about are changeable. List all the things that make you unhappy and see if you can change some of those things. Even one change can make a difference.

What a sweet picture! I wish I could cope with stress. I allways think I can, but in too much stress I just get tired and sick. And then I have to stay in bed and can't do the things I was stressing for..

Great message! Everyone should stop to smell the flowers, especially in the midst of their daily chaos. It'll remind you that things aren't always as bad as it seems.
