WARNING: This Post is NOT Cute!!!

I knew I wouldn't be a size 0 forever, but I was, nevertheless, shocked when I jumped several sizes in a span of two months at the end of last year. It wasn't the weight that saddened me, but rather the fact that ALL the jeans and pants that I had accumulated over the past 10 years didn't fit anymore. So, when my sister got pregnant, and I started to notice maternity pants, that got me to thinking and then searching...

and FINALLY discovering this tutorial: How to Convert Jeans into Maternity Pants.

I figured I would give it a try (even though I am not pregnant...haha). So, without further ado, here are a pair of jeans that I thought I would never wear again...

I wish I was handy with a sewing machine -- I think maternity clothes are the most comfortable things ever (I also refer to them as my "buffet pants")...

what a great idea. i have a hard time finding pants that fit. my waist size is 1 size larger than my hip/butt/thigh size.

What an awesome idea! And a great way to still wear jeans that you love but don't quite fit into the same way as you used to. They stay up pretty well then?

I wish there was a tutorial that expanded the butt/thigh area of a pair of jeans. =P

Awesome work! I should have saved some money if I see this post earlier!!! I spent too much in getting maternity wear last year :(
